First independent Flights of the Internet Storks

Since Saturday, July 17th, we observe the first short excursions of our young storks away from the Internet eyrie. They lift off the eyrie, rotate upward with the help of updrafts and land again after a few minutes. The landings are quite clumsy at times, however improve and become more confident with every approach. We expect that the Internet eyrie will be deserted in the next few days because the young storks' will embark on longer excursions and will be, along with their parents "Cico" and "Luna", in the search for fodder. The eyrie will then only be used as an overnight resting place.

Presently we increasingly witness attacks by outsider storks which at times even attack our young storks which, however, already know how to defend themselves.

The parent storks are also back at the eyrie at once to chase away the intruders.
