Ringing of Storks on July 4th

"Our" three young storks will receive their ring on July 4th at 3:00 pm. They will then have sufficiently developed and will no longer be need of constant protection from their parents. Both will be away for longer periods of time in search for food, leaving the youngs ones "home alone". Consequently the disturbance caused by the ringing procedure will be minimal.
The opportunity will also be taken to repair the microphone at the nest. The present audio transmission by the substitute mike is unsatisfactory.
