Young Storks receive a new Type of Band
Both Vetschau storchennest.de-young ones wear a plastic bands since July 2nd. The very visible, recognizable new type bands were put on by Katharina Illig. The work was performed with the help of lifting equipment provided by enviaM between 9:10 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. Filming and photographing was done by a cameraman of the ARD/RBB television network and a photographer of dpa, the German news agency, respectively. Concurrently adjustments to the video camera at the stork nest and trimming of trees near the nest were looked after. Thousands of viewers followed the banding of the young storks live on the Internet.
