Vetschaus's Young Storks lift off

Since Sunday (August 10th, 2003) the Vetschau Internet storks are lifting off. Annelies Lehmann of the White Stork Information Centre was able to videotape the first round-the-nest flight of a young stork at about 9:00 am. Also, the landing looked quite accomplished. In the meantime "Red Legs" and "White Feather" practice together or alternately start and landing maneuvers. Off and on they add small circiut flights which are becoming ever wider.
