The book about the Spree Forest and its storks opens with the last picture of 2003 at the Vetschau nest: "Red Legs" curtsying in front of the Webcam of www.storchennest.de. A greeting to the friends of Germany's best known storks website. One of 190 colour photographs on 136 pages.

KlaRas, the publishers, bowed out of the project. No reason to panic! The NABU district association Spree Forest has now taken over as publisher. The designer has sent as appitizers the first completed pages.
