2nd Brood

Today, during the morning hours of April 25th the present female laid her first egg. With this, as presumed, the second brood has begun. We expect more eggs at an interval of two days. Whether a young one from the leftover egg of the first brood will hatch remains to be seen. This egg was not incubated continuously, and the embryo could have died in theses circumstances. It remains a suspenseful situation. Only after the incubation period of thirty-two days will we know for sure.
