The Camera is rolling!

Since March 12th the Webcam of www.storchennest.de is online again. In the middle of February enviaM and NABU had already signed the contract to continue the joint project in the year 2004.

Over many years storks have arrived at the Vetschau stork eyrie during the last days of March, so that one can anxiously await the appearance of "Adebar" (German nickname for storks) and take up residence. It is difficult to predict the exact time of arrival, because it depends, amongst other factors, on the weather condition along the route of flight. As a "glider" storks require the appropriate updrafts and temperatures.
