Live Broadcast from the Eyrie ends

After the storks' departure to their winter quarters, strochennest.de will end its live broadcasts on September 3rd, 2004. Nevertheless, it will remain interesting: The picture archives, the discussions in the "Forum", and many other pages will still be there, so that a visit to our websites will remain entertaining and educational. This is also true for a visit to the White Stork Information Centre at Vetschau/Spree Forest. A visit is even worthwhile after the departure of the storks. The exhibits will remain open until the end of September on Mondays to Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from October 1st on Mondays to Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. During a visit a video of interesting phases of a whole breeding peroid may be viewed. From the arrival of the first storks, the choosing of a partner and mating play, the laying of eggs, the hatching, and the raising of the young, the fights at the eyrie, the flight trials, and the departure.
