On May 2nd the 2nd Egg

During the night "our" storks laid the second egg. The Internet Viewers discovered it in the early morning hours and posted it on the Forum. Already after the first egg was laid Cico and Luna began brooding. During this "activity" both alternate regularly. From the first egg on, one parent stork always remains at the eyrie. This will last until the end of June. Only when the chicks are past the worst will both parent storks fly away in search of food. Year-long observations show, that the Vetschau always lay their eggs at night.
