Live-Transmission from the "Internet"-Stork Eyrie to begin on March 29th.

The first white storks have arrived in Lower Lusatia. They stand on the snow-covered eyries and probably wait longlingly for warm days of spring. The majority of them will, however, not arrive until April. The earliest arrival of storks at the White Stork Information Centre Vetschau was during the last days of March.

We are preparing ourselves for the arrival: Camera and microphone for the live transmission from our "Internet"-Stork Eyrie are to be switched on at 11:00 a.m. local time on March 29th. enviaM and NABU, Regional Association Calau, have invited the press for a discussion. Because this date coincides with the possible arrival of the first storks, the installation of the camera and microphone will take place as a precaution already on March 22nd. Should a stork appear before March 29th, we will switch on the transmissions immediately. You, dear Stork Friends, will also have the opportunity this year to wait anxiously for the time of whether or when the eyrie will be occupied.
