The Bird of 2007 will be introduced - NABU opens a Series of Lectures at the Stork Centre

On Wednesday, January 10th at 6:00 p.m. the Nature Protection Association, Regional Federation Calau begins this year's lecture series on different nature topics. NABU cordially invites you to these at the Vetschau White Stork Information Centre at Drebkauer Str 2a.

The first lecture will deal with the 'Bird of the Year 2007'. Winfried Boehmer will introduce this not so uncommon but interesting. It is after the Common Buzzard the second most common bird of prey of our homeland.

It is the Kestrel. It stays in our region for the whole year and preferably broods on top in high buildings such as church steeples and power station ruins.
