The third Chick hatched
In the morning of May 19th the third chick of the "Internet Storks" hatched at Vetschau/Spree Forest. Stork Fans if the Internet had anxiously awaited this moment to observe and record. Early in the morning already, the first videos of the three "wobbly heads" could be viewed on the Internet.
The first two chicks hatched at short intervals during the night from May 16th to 17th. It is uncertain whether further chicks will hatch because it was difficult to see the number of eggs in the deep nest hollow. A visit to the Stork Information Centre is now especially rewarding. The stork family may be visited daily except Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
On Tuesday the chicks will receive their names. Children of the Astrid-Lindgren Elementary School of Luebbecke suggest the names.
