Will we still be able to collect #3,500.00?

Dear Stork Friends;

at the Free University of Berlin a scientific study into the causes of death of white storks is being undertaken, in particular into aspergillosis. The goal is not only to get to the bottom of the causes but also to find ways to reduce the loss of chicks. NABU, the Regional Association, Calau, participates in the investigation by collecting dead storks and nest material samples and also through financial help of €20,000.00. During our acceptance, we relied on last year's level of donations. However, the eagerness to donate has not been that good. Unfortunately, we are still in need of €3,500.00 to remit our portion. Therefore, this is our plea, to support us and to forward a donation to us. We are confident that you will help us to improve the protection of the storks. Too many stork chicks still die during the nesting period - let us change it!
