At temperatures above 85°F (30°C) the parent and young storks chalk their legs. By way of this temperature regulation and panting the body temperature is lowered. |

At about 3:00 p.m. Finja departed unintentionally from the nest and landed unharmed on the neighbour's roof. After some three hours she returned to her nest. |

In the morning of today our young stork again flew away on an excursion of a few minutes. |

At about 11:45 a.m. Apoll finally manages to take off for the first time |
