Merry Christmas

Dear Friends of Storks and Nature;

from April to August our storks, "Cico and Luna" were guests at Vetschau and raised their young successfully.

The stork nests of the area are presently rebuilt were necessary or prepared for the coming season.

It was a busy year for the NABU Regional Association Calau which we could bring to a successful conclusion only with your support. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and fans of storchennest.de. Through your loyalty and help, you contributed anew to the continuity of our establishment.

We would be pleased, if you would also visit us at our White Stork Information Centre, at our presentations or actively support us with a donation during the coming year.

Christmas is nearly upon us, and you don't have a present yet? Give one of our Internet stork "Cico and Luna"-DVDs as a present or purchase from us here in Vetschau a sponsorship for the protection of storks.

Last but not least, we would like to appeal to all friends of nature to participate in the NABU campaign "The Hour of Winter Birds". From January 6th to 8th you are asked to spend an hour to count birds at their feeders, in gardens, on balconies or parks and report your sightings and count to: http://www.nabu.de/aktionenundprojekte/stundederwintervoegel/
