Mom and Dad were both seen working on N2B this morning! We hope you enjoy this video from eaglewhisperer18!
Dad comes in with a stick at the beginning of this video, placing it up against the tree limb at left (a bit of a sticky spot for us humans, as I recall). Mom follows with her own stick at 17 seconds and a stick dance ensues as the eagles tug for control of the prize. Unsurprisingly, Dad gains control and places the stick with his usual attention to detail. He moves some soft materials until a beak snapping session begins around the one-minute mark when Mom tries to join him. Mom finds some nestovers at 1:14 - fish scraps, maybe? - and digs in. The remains look relatively unpalatable and hard to eat - they don't tear well and are quite desiccated. Dad, who has left, flies back in at 4:37 with another stick. He places it and moves sticks while Mom feaks (cleans her beak). Dad's stick antics take up the rest of the video.
I'd like to think Bob is doing the happy dance somewhere watching. Neil and Kike (Kee-kay), your nest skills are clearly strong...if not above some improvement by Dad!:
No one is at N2B right now, but you can watch the nest live here:
