Mom and Pop are probably looking for dinner...did the rain cool things off there? Hope so. The kids are looking so good, with their black striped feathers on. Soon they will be flapping their wings, testing them out for the long flight South. Hard to believe what is ahead of them.

Hi Foxfire,
they look really good and seem to develop well.
And they grow so fast. End of they July they may do their first flight. They have good parents who do the best they can for their babies.

Cico left the nest alone, some moments later Luna arrived. First she gave water to the chicks, than she fed them.

I looked at the weather forecast for Vetschau and it shows rain showers predicted for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I think that will help make more food available

Is the Stork Center going to find out what caused the death of the 2nd chick? I couldn't find anything in the news section about it.
