nice to hear from you.
I have heard about the bad storm in your area and I am glad this little eaglet was rescued.
I hope everything heals well and the little one can be fostered out again.

Martin and Susie are on the nest yet.
It is a rather hot weekend here in Germany.

The storks have covered they legs with feces to cool down a bit and for temperature regulation.

The storklets left last Friday.
They have been on the nest in the morning and have not been there since than.
They will meet with other youngsters now, will improve their flight skills and will look for food together.
Now and than you can see an adult stork or if you are lucky Cico and Luna together on the nest.

I have been checking in from time to time. I had to put my 15 year old dog to sleep in February and rescued a new one year old puppy in April, so have had bad times and good times this year. Haven't spent much time on my computer.

Thank you Doris, Su and Tina for all the photos, videos and updates. I'm glad there are two young storks that are healthy and wishing them strength as they will soon be facing their long journey.

Hope to check in with you all next year.

I guess, he will still be alive in your heart.
And a new puppy is great and I think you and the new dog will have a lot of fun together.

Luna has left us early in the 3.8.14,

noon 3.8.14 came a strange female stork and stayed with Cico,
Cico has left us early yesterday, 8.8.14 ...
whether the strange female stork comes back, I do not know.
