Very sad. Was the chick found under the nest?
The small one did very well today, but i agree, the distance
between the small one and the siblings got bigger in the last days.

Very sad that Luna or Chico did not give a longer chance...

Hi Ela, there is no one at the Storkcenter at this time.
They have to look tomorrow for the little body.

Just checking in and read the many concerns for 'little one'.
I was going to write that I had checked back in the 2010 photo archives and that it took about another 2 weeks before the 4th chick hatched in 2010 was almost the same size as the other 3.

Then I read that today 'little one' was removed by parent
I won't watch those videos, much too upsetting
Sometimes it is good that I am not able to watch the events at the eyrie when they are happening.

Even if it was foreseeable that the chances were for the little ones at zero and it is expected, it's still always hard to watch but know the parents and especially why they do this!

Bad news i think, there is a dead chick in the nest, i saw
a feeding right now and it does not move.
I am not shure but i think it is one of the bigger ones.
What happened, yesterday they all looked good?
