Hello storkfriends ,
one of our adult storks removed another chick from the nest caused by the long lasting drought and the food sortage.
We have found it dead under the nest. We can only hope that both remaining chicks will survive this phase.

Left alone again and they are only 2 weeks old.
This is much too early.

Usually they are left alone longer by the parents at the age of 4 weeks.
